Write out a mission statement using Biblical reference in changing your world.

e.g. Luke passage on — a person’s worth is not measured by his possessions — I hate the greediness of this world, and how greed causes people to abuse others and to exploit others just for the almighty dollar. My desire is to eliminate greed in all its ugliness wherever it may be; starting first in my own life and working outward to my family, my school, my church, my local government and finally the world. I want to help people to see they will be much richer if they worship God and not money.

    Chapel Questions for 10/25/07 with Peter from FFHM

    1. Where was our speaker from this week?

    A: FFHM or Foundation for His Ministry

    2. Where is FFHM located?

    A: In Mexico; In Baja, Mexico; Baja California; Michoacan; Oaxca

    3. What is unique about the border crossing into Mexico that the 7/8th graders will pass through to get to Mexico?

    A: It is the busiest border crossing in all of North America

    4. What is a Migrant Farmer?

    A: A person who leaves his home to migrate wherever there is farm work

    5. What do many of the Migrant Farmers live in?

    A: Card board boxes

    6. There was a round rock with a hole in the middle of it in front of their Mission building. Do you remember what it was called?

    A: Millstone

    7. What did Jesus say if someone hurt one of his little children.

    A: He said it would be better if a person tied a millstone around their neck and be thrown into the sea than hurt one of his children.

    8. How do they raise funds for operating the Mission?

    A: They don’t. Or They pray daily for God to meet all their needs.

    9. What is central to FFHM, and the mission would fail if this was not done?

    A: Prayer

    10. Name three ministries of the FFHM.

    A: There are many: Orphanage, School, Medical Center, Bible College, Special Needs ministry, Migrant Camp Evangelism, Day Care Center, Orchard and more

    A: False

    12. What did a poor girl sitting in the speaker’s lap for an hour watching the Jesus film do to him?

    A: It changed the Speaker’s life forever.

    13. Why didn’t the wheel chairs work in the camps?

    A: The thin tires on the wheel chair wouldn’t go in the sand and mud of the camps.

    14. What did the Special Needs ministry do to overcome this problem?

    A: They replaced the tires with mountain bike tires.

    15. What was the meal the FFHM ministers gave to the children in the camps?

    A: Peanut butter and milk
